Alban LeBlanc, age 79, of Dieppe and formerly of Memramcook East, passed away Friday, February 16, 2001, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Edouard LeBlanc and the late Marie-Blanche Dupuis.

 Alban LeBlancHe was a retired store keeper, a member of the Legion Branch #89 of Memramcook, Knights of Columbus 10079 of Memramcook, and of the Golden Ago Club of Memramcook. He was a veteran of the 2nd World War.

Alban is survived by his wife, Lorette (LeBlanc) LeBlanc; one daughter, Lillianne (Eugéne) Cormier of Memramcook East; one son, Armand LeB1anc of Dieppe; two .grandchifdren, Danny, Monique (Serge); three brothers, Gillis (Violette) LeBlanc, Camille (late Yvonne) LeBlanc, both of Memramcook East, George (Stella) LeBlanc of Memramcook Lake; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Corine; three brothers, Philippe. Phillias, Yvet.

Remains are resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with a Funeral service to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Monday. February 19, 2001 at 7:00 p.m., Father Emery Brien officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
